The first speaker in the series to place on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross College and featured Rev. Edward A. “Monk” Malloy, C.S.C., president emeritus of the University of Notre Dame, theologian, and author.Fr. Malloy’s topic brough to life his recent book People First: Reflections on Leadership. His word inspire leaders from all walks of life who inspire to be forces for good. Fr. Malloy is president emeritus of the University of Notre Dame, where he served from 1987 to 2005 as the sixteenth president and where he is currently a professor of theology. He serves on the board of directors of several universities and national organizations and is the recipient of 25 honorary degrees. He has published 12 books, including a 3-volume memoir and most recently Monk’s Musings and Monk’s Notre Dame: People, Paces, and Events.
